Damon Joyner

Damon Joyner began his career in Brentwood, TN with Lovell Incorporated. At Lovell, Joyner served as a registered representative from 1991 to 2003. In mid-2003, he left Lovell to join Wachovia Securities LLC / First Clearing Correspondent Services in Richmond, VA where he took on multiple leadership roles in the areas of compliance, operations, finance, and regulatory reporting. In 2007, he joined Russell Investments in Tacoma, WA as the US Controller. In mid-2010, he left to join Anderson Strudwick, Inc. in Richmond, VA as Chief Financial Officer / Chief Operations Officer. Joyner was promoted in 2010 to the role of President and Chief Executive Officer until late 2011, when he joined Sterne, Agee & Leach, Inc. in Birmingham, AL as Chief Financial Officer. Joyner was promoted in 2013 to President and Chief Executive Officer of Sterne Agee Clearing, Inc. Joyner holds a Bachelor of Arts from MTSU and also has completed his Series 6, 7, 24, 27, 28, 63 and 65 licenses, as well as CFS, CMFC and CRPC certifications. He is a member of SIFMA where he has served on various committees.

Patricia A. Jamison

Pat Jamison began her career as a registered representative with E. F. Hutton & Company, Inc. Then, for 22 years, Pat was with Prudential Securities in New York, NY and its clearing arm, Wexford Clearing Services Corporation, holding a number of positions. She was eventually named Executive Vice President and COO of Wexford, and served as President until Wexford was acquired by First Clearing during the Prudential Securities and Wachovia Securities merger. For eight years, Jamison worked for First Clearing Correspondent Services in St. Louis, Missouri, serving as a segment director and also as COO and Acting President. She joins Sterne Agee from First Clearing where most recently, as Director of Relationship Management, she directed service excellence for correspondent broker-dealers. Jamison received her BA from Wheaton College, and also attended the Securities Industry Institute at Wharton. She holds Series, 7, 63, 24 and 27 licenses.

James A. Bello

James Bello began his career in the financial services industry in 1995 as an associate for U.S. Clearing. James thrived in various cultures created as a result of multiple mergers and acquisitions. During the first 10 years of James' career, he gained a diverse exposure to trading, which included working on the floor of the American Stock Exchange as an OTC Trader and Correspondent Trading Desk Supervisor. James later served as Director of Relationship Management and Senior Director of Clearing Sales. James joined Sterne Agee in 2010 as a Managing Director of Clearing Sales based out of our New York office. James holds the series 7,63,55,24 and 4 licenses.

Steve Beck

Steve Beck began his career in 1983 with Wheat First Securities in Richmond, VA, which later became Wells Fargo Advisors. He joined the clearing business at First Clearing Corporation in 2000. He has been responsible for servicing and maintaining many correspondent firm relationships. Steve brings over 30 years of experience in the industry where he has played major roles in the successful conversions of his parent firm’s mergers and of our correspondent firms. Additionally, during his tenure at Wheat/Wells, Steve served in Operations management roles in ACATS, Money Market, Client Services and Margin. He attended the School of Business at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA. He resides in Mechanicsville, Virginia with his wife Terri and their two daughters, Lauren and Kendall. When not at work, Steve can be found with his family at the beach or in the garden.

Don Exner

Don Exner began his career in 1989 with Unified Management Corp as an Investor Services Representative located in Indianapolis, IN. In 1990, he joined JW Genesis Financial Services as a Product Coordinator and Fixed Income Trader in Boca Raton, FL. JW Genesis was acquired in 1999 by Fiserv Correspondent Services, where Don continued as Relationship Manager for the next ten years. In June 2001, Don joined Sterne Agee Clearing. He is responsible for all the onboarding functions for new Broker Dealers joining Sterne Agee as well as Relationship Management duties. Don received a B.S. in Consumer and Family Sciences from Purdue University in 1988. Don holds Series 7, 24 and 63 licenses.

Patrice M. Harlson

Patrice Harlson began her career in Chicago, IL in 1983 with Northern Trust Bank where she worked in multiple roles for 13 years. Patrice joined Sterne Agee in 1996. During her tenure, she has managed Purchase and Sales, Broker Dealer Trading Support, Institutional Trading Support, Mutual Funds Operations, Settlement Operations, Fail Control, Reconciliation, Customer Statements, Customer Confirms, Pricing, Conversions and held the position of Operations Senior Project Manager. Patrice is a member of the SIFMA Red Group and also serves as the Beta liaison for Sterne Agee. Patrice graduated from Birmingham-Southern College with a BS in Finance and is a Series 99 Operations Professional.
